The thirty-day window

Tools, pots, gloves, aprons and other non-seed items can be returned within thirty days of arrival, unused and in their original packaging. There is no need to give us a reason. The fourteen-day right under EU consumer law is included; the additional sixteen days are a workshop goodwill window.

Sealed seed packets — fourteen days

Sealed, unopened seed packets may be returned within fourteen days, in line with EU consumer law. Once a packet has been opened we cannot accept it back unless the seed is faulty (extremely rare with our supplier — but please email us and we will sort it).

How to start a return

1. Email [email protected] with your order number and which items you'd like to send back.
2. We reply within one working day with a return form and the workshop's return address (it's the same as the office: 38 Tsar Simeon Veliki Street, Building B, Workshop 4, 6000 Stara Zagora).
3. Pack the items in their original wrapping, slide the form inside, and post via Speedy, Econt or any tracked courier.

Who pays the return postage

If the item is faulty, mis-described or arrived damaged, we cover the return postage — please send the receipt with the parcel. If you simply changed your mind, the return postage is on you.

How quickly we refund

We refund within 5–10 working days of receiving the parcel. Refunds go back to the same payment method you used. Card refunds may take a further two or three days to show on your bank statement.

Faulty or damaged tools

If a tool arrives damaged or breaks under normal use within two seasons, please email photographs and your order number. We offer free repair, replacement or refund — your choice. Damage from misuse, rust caused by outdoor storage, or sharpening errors are not covered.

EU online dispute resolution

If we cannot agree on a return, EU consumers may bring the matter to the European Online Dispute Resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr.
